Stove Top Cooking (Quick Sauté)

Ingredients :


  • 1 cup Pianta Mixed Vegetables (Frozen)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs (to taste)

Steps :


  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add frozen vegetables directly to the pan — no need to thaw.
  • Season to taste and sauté for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve warm as a side dish or mix into pasta, rice, or wraps.

Oriental Mixed Vegetables in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients :


  • 2 cups Pianta Frozen Mixed Vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, corn, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, blended (or 1 cup natural tomato puree)
  • 2 tablespoons Pianta Natural Tomato Paste
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup water or vegetable broth
  • Fresh coriander or parsley for garnish

Steps :


  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and sauté until golden.
  • Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add blended tomatoes and tomato paste, then cook for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add Pianta Frozen Mixed Vegetables and stir well to coat them with the sauce.
  • Pour in water or broth, cover the pan, and let simmer for 10–12 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander or parsley and serve hot with rice or bread.
