Vermicelli Rice (Traditional Side Dish)

Ingredients :


  • 1 cup Pianta Vermicelli
  • 2 cups basmati or Egyptian rice (washed & drained)
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil or ghee
  • 3 cups hot water or broth
  • 1 tsp salt

Steps :


  • Heat oil or ghee in a pot.
  • Add Pianta Vermicelli and stir until golden brown.
  • Add washed rice and stir gently for 1–2 minutes.
  • Pour hot water/broth, add salt, and bring to boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and cook for 15–18 minutes until rice is fluffy and vermicelli is tender.
